4   "Got any ideas Napoleon?" Illya leaned against the old oak door and smiled maliciously.
"A few partner mine."

7   "The union will not be legally binding Illya. You will only be married for the duration of the affair."
"For your sake Napoleon it had better not be, I would hate to end up languishing in jail for bigamy." Illya glared and walked out the door.

5   In lieu of a chapel, the house's front parlor was decorated with pink and white bunting and ribbons, a few rows of chairs making an aisle for the bride to walk down.

6   As soon as possible Illya made a beeline for his rooms and with exasperation bordering on anger he tore the bowtie from his neck and slumped against the window frame. The fading light through the glass did little to warm him or dispel the aura of fear and loathing he had for this place.
Part Five by Kei

7   He was in his element - a glass of Champagne in hand, a beautiful lady interested in everything he had to say, and surrounded by a throng of cultured and titled "beautiful people" that had remained, after the bride and "groom" had retired to their honeymoon suite, to quaff expensive liquor while simply being seen. He *was* in his element, but Napoleon Solo was anything, but comfortable.

3   Napoleon tore down the hallway totally unaware of the stares he was getting as he rushed to his partner's aid. He was so tuned in to his feelings that something was wrong that he literally ran into the three people leaving Illya's room. Stepping back he began to apologize then the robes they wore sunk in.
"What the hell is going on?" Illya's new bride looked him up and down.
Part Seven by Rari

8   Napoleon drove as fast as he could, only slowing to take the deep corners. If he had been by himself, he might have chosen to go back to get to the bottom of things. But, Illya was afraid. And Illya was never afraid. And he wanted to get as far away as they could. So, Napoleon kept driving.

7   "The hour soon at hand," intoned Illya. "This one must be returned for the joining."
Part 9 by Ravenschild

9   Napoleon swore under his breath as the pain lanced his leg and pulled the pen communicator out of his pocket. He didn't expect it to work and when it finally crackled into life he smiled and looked heavenwards in thanks.
"Channel D priority relay to Professor Jonas McKeigh, Myskatonic University, Boston."
Part 10 by Jatona

4   McKeigh regarded the American and, silently, praised him for his dedication to his partner. Be that as it may, he had to make certain the younger man understood exactly what he was preparing to do. "Mr. Solo?', he ventured.
"You want me to challenge this Cthulu for Illya, don't you?", Solo asked.

3   It was easy to sound brave to the point of arrogance -he had done it many times on many missions...it didn't mean, however, that he was without fear. Napoleon took his leave of the strange house and his even stranger host (hosts?), heading for the car that had been pointed out for him. ("For your use,") he had been told. ("To be kept or not, destroyed or not -none of that matters. Only the defeat of our ancient enemy matters.")

7   Napoleon growled low in his throat as the wind increased trying to push the car off the road.
"I don't think so!" he muttered as he turned the wheel back to the center of the road. "I am coming for my partner and you are not going to stop me!" he stated determinedly.
Part 13 by Ceindreadh

11   A surge of relief swept over Illya at the sight of Napoleon. His last clear memory was of sitting in a car with his partner...urging Napoleon to leave the property for his own safety. He was about to greet him warmly when he felt his wedding ring start to grow warmer and a voice in his head told him "this man is your enemy...you must destroy him." Illya clutched at the edge of the table as he fell into a chair next to his 'wife'. His knuckles were white as he tried to ignore the voice in his mind. "Kill him...KILL HIM!"
Part 14 by Rari

9   "That, gentlemen," came the voice of Lovecraft, "is just the beginning."
And it was. The initial rush of energy was as nothing compared to what hit them next. As if it were a conduit, a tidal wave of sensation surged from where their hands connected and their blood commingled. It felt like a golden current of electricity, like a warm draught of brandy on a cold and stormy night and it licked through their bodies like wildfire.

8   Bright morning sunlight streamed across the back porch, but Napoleon felt it was far too close to a house full of enemies to stop there. He spied a gazebo, sides open to the air, a short distance away, and carried his burden to it, laying him down on one of the wide seats which ringed the interior, in full sunlight.
'He should wake soon,' Lovecraft said into Napoleon's mind, 'but while I've got you alone, so to speak, there are urgent matters to discuss.'

12   'Damn it. She must have called Waverly.' Napoleon's mind raced. What the hell was he going to say? "Up to and including termination with extreme prejudice." Did that statement prove that Alexander Waverly, the top man in UNCLE was indeed one of them? Or was he just somehow under their power? Either way, Napoleon and Illya had a very big and serious problem.
He was about to reply to Waverly when, to Napoleon's surprise, Illya reached up and grabbed the communicator from his hand and answered for them both.

7   Melissa paced nervously; since dawn had risen crisp and clear over Leningrad she had known something was amiss. She looked deeply into the dark tea, peering into the swirling depths and understood trepidation.
Illya.

4   Ariadne swung furiously around. "What do you mean you can't find him? He can not leave the estate, find him. Now!" She thundered at the two acolytes. With a deep bow they left the room. Solo it had to be, why couldn't he just leave things alone? He had no idea what he was doing or who he was doing it to. She smiled a feral smile. She was going to make sure he found out first hand.

9   Ariadne's shriek of outrage did not go unheard. Almost immediately, there was a thunderous hammering at her chamber door before the barrier flew open with a bang. "My Lady!" one of the obsequious retinue implored. "What ails thee? We heard you cry out!"
