'So, perfect
love and perfect trust in one's mate kills Lilim' Napoleon mused,
brushing the fine layer of soot and ash off him. He felt unclean after
the contact with it, and longingly gazed to to the shower, but he had a
mission to complete that was far more
urgent....
In the meantime, Lucifer himself stared into a bowl of brine, seeing one of his creations gone sour turn to ash and dust. He sighed, and swept the archaic relic off the kitchen counter and into the sink. He did not need it to scry, but sometimes preferred the nostalgia of brine to plain water. 'Sometimes', he mused, 'this job just get's downright nasty'
Slowly the former archangel sat down with a cup of tea, to think and to scheme, in his appartment in New York.
He stood before
his tabletop map of the world, (in 3D of course), and moved a few pins.
One black pin he removed, one white one remained. As he was doing this,
a gorgeous looking redhead walked in, kissing him on the lips. "so how
was your day, darling?" she murmered seductively. Lucifer sighed. "Bad
my dear, bad. If God himself hadn't asked me to take on the role
of fallen angel I wouldn't have. But as it is... " He got a wicked gleam
in his eyes. Eyeing his wife he asked "are you doing
anything this
evening, my dear?".
