Illya had the feeling that his request had been refused before he left the room and he was far from being in a good mood. Solo came up beside him. "The old man refused you?" Illya stopped and stared at him. "Not in so many words. Just said he would consider it. I just don't think he will." The blonde stated. Solo chuckled. "No I don't think he will. Get close to me? May I ask how?" The older man asked. Illya felt a rush of heat and knew his face was redder than the sun. "I need to pack and you need to get to Princeton, we do not have time for this. You will be all right till I get there?" He asked. Solo grabbed his hand and shook it. "Yes I will be alright. Just take care of your self; there is no proof that the GRU message has been received by ALL its representatives. Keep an eye behind you till you arrive there. I will watch your back from there." Solo promised. The smile was so soft and quick that Napoleon wasn't even sure it had been there. "I will count on it, partner." The slighter man said as he walked away. Turning in the hallway he walked backwards. "Don't forget to get yourself to Princeton. I will let you know which lectures I will be attending. Oh, I would be at the hall early; we scientists tend to start early and end late." Illya snarled as he resumed his walk out of headquarters. Napoleon watched as the younger man stormed down the halls people getting out of his way in a hurry. "Mr. Kuryakin seems to be upset." Waverly's voice spoke at his shoulder. Solo turned to the older man. "He may have a reason to be. What does he want Sir?" Waverly glanced at him. He wants to return to England." The younger man pinched his nose. "He can't do that Mr. Waverly! He is too good for U.N.C.L.E. to lose." The older man was silent for a moment. "I am glad you feel that way. Mr. Kuryakin has no friends in America that I am aware of, I am sure he is very lonely." he replied. The younger man met his eyes. "I would like to consider him a friend but he is not easy to get to know. I would like try though," the dark haired agent stated. The older man patted him on the shoulder. "That is an excellent idea Mr. Solo! Why don't you do that while at Princeton?" His boss replied as he walked away. Napoleon stood still; he knew that he had just been maneuvered into something by the old dog but he just didn't know what yet! Well it would be interesting to find out. He did need to get to Princeton.
