The second nurse followed Fredericks into the room. "Another job, eh? It's my word against yours. Besides, you've got no witnesses!", she snarled. "I would call myself a creditable witness", came a familiar voice from the direction of the door. The second nurse turned to face the intruder; Fredericks continued to Solo's bed. "So! You're still here!", she snapped. "Are we going to tattle to Waverly now?" Illya closed the door and locked it. "Not at all, m'dear", he replied, his voice deceptively gentle. "I prefer to talk to those who call me names on a one-to-one basis. My favorite first question is 'why'?" She had retreated from the advancing Russian. "If you dare touch me I'll scream!", she threatened. "My dear girl, the rooms are sound proof and, to paraphrase your own words, it's our word against yours." This from Fredericks. The nurse bristled. "And what proof do you have?", she challenged. "Always trust this." Illya tapped his nose, then continued. "I remembered the scent of your perfume from the hospital and I have several questions for you." The nurse halted in her retreat, and stood her ground. "Neither of you will get anything out of me!", she hissed, definitely. Illya shook his head in mock sorrow. "A pity. In that case, Nurse Fredericks, we have no choice. We shall return her to her superiors at the hospital. Perhaps they can refresh her memory, yes?" "An excellent idea, Mr. Kuryakin", Fredericks enthused. "Perhaps he will even let me accompany her."
