The
Not-So Urban Myth Affair |
Napoleon could only stand helplessly by as he watched the doctors franticly work to revive Illya. His own vision was starting to blur. Only his iron will and deep concern for his friend and partner kept him on his feet now.
Napoleon forced himself to stay alert. But what ever that thing under his skin was, was quickly making that harder to do.
He looked on as the nurse and other doctor moved around Illya's bed. They were starting CPR on him now. Illya still wasn't breathing. Napoleon felt the panic growing in his soul.
He and Illya both knew that one or both of them could die at anytime on any mission. Indeed they had on many occasions stared death square in the face and walked away each time.
But now it looked like death might win,
The growing pain in Napoleon's body was slowly getting worse. He just managed to make it to a chair sitting along the wall. The room was beginning to spin, but he could still hear.
And the last thing he heard before the blackness engulfed him was....."His breathing again..."
"Mr. Kuryakin, can you hear me..? Your are going to be alright.."
"Mr. Solo, your friend will be fine, he..." the doctor turned around just in time to see Napoleon slip from the chair to the floor.
"Nurse...!!!"

Alexander Waverly sat at his desk. His last report from Mr Solo had not been very useful.. The missing US. spy satellite was in the hands of THRUSH, And he wondered just how long it would be before they discovered they had it.
He would have the trust that Mr. Solo and Mr. Kuryakin would be able to find a way to get it back safely and quickly.. In the meantime he would see what assistance he could provide them to help achieve that end.
He tapped the button on his intercom. "Miss. Davis. tell Mr. Slade & Miss Dancer to report to me immediately.." Waverly went back to his paperwork to a wait his two agents..
